LGP AND BACKLIGHT UNIT USING POLYGONAL PRISM STRUCTURE, AND LCD USING THE SAME

A light guide plate using polygonal prism structure, a backlight unit, and a liquid crystal display device using the same are provided to improve viewing angle property and luminance by reflecting a light inside a prism. A plurality of light guide plate prism peaks(41) is positioned on a radiate surface. The light guide prism peaks has heptagon shape in which right and left are symmetry. A left side and a right side of the light guide plate prism peaks are curved, and include a first region, a second region, and a third region. A light ray irradiated from a light source is radiated upward.
