A gate driving device and display apparatus including the same are provided to drive the gate when operating a plurality of gate lines in the high level at the same time. A gate driving device comprises a shift register(110), an operation unit(120) and a selecting unit(130). The shift register receives the start signal, synchronizes the start signal to the gate clock signal and provides a plurality of pre gate signals successively. The operation unit operates a plurality of pre gate signals and the gate clock signal respectively and successively provides a plurality of operation signals. The operation unit successively provides a plurality of operation signals. The selecting unit outputs a plurality of free gate signals or a plurality of operation signals in response to the start signal.
