FIELD: technological processes. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention is related to continuous casting of metal. Crystalliser comprises body, which contains copper cartridge and support core of preferably rectilinear shape arranged in it. Body and copper cartridge create cavity for supply of cooling liquid. Provision of crystalliser with support core that covers cartridge along helical line and contacts by its external side to internal surface of body provides for required rigidity of cartridge and excludes its deformation. Arrangement of core with rectilinear shape and its installation along helical line provides for efficient cooling of crystalliser pan cartridge in process of cooling liquid motion. ^ EFFECT: installation of core with varied pitch that increases closer to outlet provides for evening of heat flows in process of billet crystallisation. ^ 3 cl, 2 dwg |
