The invention relates to a method and device for controlling production of a mixture of components, in particular a mixture with pre-mix dead volumes. Said method and device provide a multi-variable regulation feedback by a dynamic observer which permits a real-time estimate of the properties of the mixture components which is sufficient to guarantee the efficiency of the feedback loop. The desired properties of the mixture are thus guaranteed, despite significant uncertainty concerning the properties of the components of the mixture and only a partial knowledge of the mixing process.
