A shift control method of an automatic transmission for vehicle is provided to improve shift quality and engine efficiency by changing a shift pattern. A weight measurement process is performed to measure a weight change of a vehicle by sensing a loading state of a passenger and a loading state of freight(S10). A shift pattern decision process is performed to decide a shift pattern according to the measured weight(S11). A vehicle speed sensing process is performed to sense a present speed of a vehicle(S12). A throttle opening state sensing process is performed to sense a present opening state of a throttle(S13). A shift map position confirmation process is performed to confirm a position of a shift map(S14). A shift point decision process is performed to decide a shift point according to the confirmed position of the shift map(S15). |
