<p>A transmission rate control method for controlling a transmission rate of user data transmitted by a mobile station via an uplink, include: notifying, at a radio network controller, a maximum allowable transmission rate of the user data to the mobile station, when the mobile station starts communications or when a cell to which the mobile station is to be connected is changed; and automatically increasing, at the mobile station, the transmission rate of the user data to the maximum allowable transmission rate that is notified by the radio network controller.</p> |
