FIELD: technological processes; electricity. ^ SUBSTANCE: after component and chill mold have been fixed, at least one alloying plate is installed from the side of component working surface along chill mold wall with specified content of alloying elements and melt temperature that is less than temperature of slag bath with provision of full transition in process of alloying elements fusing into composition of fused layer. Alloying plate is previously manufactured by means of dry mixing of powdery charge components in required amount, introduction of binder with production of viscous-flow mass, further pressing and drying. Alloying is carried out simultaneously with fusing. ^ EFFECT: higher quality of fused material and reduction of restoration prime cost by preliminary calculation of required chemical composition of fused metal and realisation of its dosed alloying, lower labour intensiveness of alloying plates manufacture and production of guaranteed identical total mass of restored part. ^ 1 ex
