PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for inexpensively and effectively recovering tin from tin-containing substances which contain lead and the like other than tin.
SOLUTION: This recovering method comprises the steps of: adding powders or particulates obtained by atomizing or grinding the tin-containing substances such as an alloy block containing tin and lead, into an aqueous solution of caustic soda; stirring the aqueous solution of caustic soda while blowing oxygen therein and obtaining a leaching solution containing tin through an oxidation leaching operation; and recovering tin by an electrowinning operation while using the leaching solution as an electrolytic solution. An NaOH concentration in the aqueous solution of caustic soda after the oxidation leaching operation has been finished is preferably 0.1 to 150 g/L, is more preferably 4 to 80 g/L, and is most preferably 30 to 80 g/L. The temperature of the aqueous solution of caustic soda during the leaching operation is preferably 50 to 100°C, and the temperature of the electrolytic solution during the electrowinning operation is preferably 50 to 100°C.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
|
