PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging device for enhancing precision of face recognition, and to provide a program therefor. SOLUTION: This imaging device calculates respectively feature data of all the imaged subjects, from a plurality of imaged frame image data (S11). The imaging device generates three-dimensional models of all the subjects, based on the feature data of the calculated frame image data (S12). The imaging device compares collates the generated three-dimensional models with respective kinds of recorded three-dimensional face data (S13). The imaging device determines whether any of the three-dimensional face data among the plural kinds of three-dimensional face data of the subject matches the generated three-dimensional models of all the subjects with a predetermined level or higher (S14). The imaging device determines an area on the frame image data corresponding to the portion with matching degree of the prescribed value or more, as a face area, when determining the portion with matching degree of the prescribed value or more in the step S14, thereby detecting a face (S15).
