PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a load on a user for preliminary preparation, and to achieve the data transfer of content owned by its own device by a simple operation. SOLUTION: A user portable terminal 20 makes a connection request to a content controller 10 by using an IP address assigned to the content controller 10, and accepts the designation of content from a content list displayed on a client operation screen acquired from the content controller 10, and transmits client operation information with which the designated content can be specified, and receives content shown by the client operation information. Also, the content controller 10 provides the client operation screen to the user portable terminal 20 which has made the connection request by using its own IP address, and retrieves the content shown by the client operation information from the user portable terminal 20 from a content storage part 19 installed in itself, and transmits the content to the user portable terminal 20.
