PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To propose a measuring spoon that can easily measure even a viscous object to be measured in a liquid, jelly, or gel shapes, can be extracted easily, can be operated easily, as well as, has a simple structure. SOLUTION: The measuring spoon has a spoon body A and a baseplate member B. The spoon body has a saucer-shaped section 2, having a recess 4 where both the sides are in parallel; and a handle section 3. The baseplate member comprises a slide plate 20 slidably provided on the handle section; and a base piece 21 having a second hinge 26 that connects a front edge to the front edge of the slide plate via a first hinge 25, rotatably locks the tip edge to an upper edge on the front of the recess, and crosses across a middle section in the longitudinal direction. The upper edge of the recess is closed by the baseplate in a liquid-tight nanner, such that both the sides are slid on the side of the recess by pushing the slide plate, the baseplate is bent, and the measuring recess is demarcated at the upper part.
