PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new ventilation system for a dwelling house capable of very quickly adjusting necessary ventilatory volume of each room and actual ventilatory volume, and sufficiently contributing on energy-saving. SOLUTION: A ventilation device 2 for a dwelling house is disposed in a closet 3 disposed in a specific room of a plurality of rooms in the dwelling house 1, and connected with branched discharge pipes 29, 30, 31, ... connected with indoor air supply openings 22 for dividing and supplying the air into each of the rooms, and an air volume adjusting device 45 is connected with the branched discharge pipes 29, 30, 31, ... in a state of being exposed in the closet 3. The air volume adjusting device 45 comprises first and second dampers 48, 49, first and second rotating shafts 48b, 48d, 49c, 49e concentric to each other, first and second positioning pieces 48c, 49d formed on each of the rotating shafts, and first and second engagement portions 47i, 47l, 47m, 47n engaged with the first and second positioning pieces.
