PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a double-sided meshing type silent chain having reduced elastic elongation, improved fatigue strength and a reduced width. SOLUTION: The double-sided meshing type silent chain 1 comprises outer links L1 and inner links L2 formed with outside link plates 2, 3 arranged on both outsides of the chain in the cross direction and with a plurality of inside link plates 4, 5 arranged between the outside link plates 2, 3, respectively. Both ends of connection pins 6 are fixed to pin holes 2b of the outside link plates 2 of the outer links L1 to endlessly connect the outer links L1 to the inner links L2 alternately in the longitudinal direction. Link teeth 2a, 3a of the outside link plates 2, 3 are located on the outer periphery side of the chain, and link teeth 4a, 5a of the inside link plates 4, 5 are located on the inner periphery side of the chain. One of the plurality of inside link plates 5 of the inner links L2 is arranged inside the chain adjacent to the outside link plates 3 of the inner links L2 in the cross direction.
