PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air blower which includes: a handle part of a hand-held size; and a member covering a drive part and preventing deformation and damage due to stress concentration etc. of a front case 30, and has excellent portability. SOLUTION: Since the handle part 6 is not formed by a linear member but formed to have a shape with a hand-held size, lifting force is dispersed so as to suppress biting into fingers, and gripping force is dispersed so as to reduce and stabilize swinging during carrying, thereby improving portability. Since a lateral peripheral face of the front case 30 constituting the outer covering member 10 is fixed to a motor 3 from the inner side, deformation and damage due to stress concentration etc. of the front case 30 constituting the outer covering member 10 are prevented.
