PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus, etc. by which a user easily finds a folder in which a file for performing processing such as printing is included, and a folder for storing image data scanned by the image forming apparatus, etc.

SOLUTION: The image processor includes: a loading means 138 for detachably loading an external storage device; an execution means 105 for executing a job using the folder stored in the external storage device loaded to the loading means; and an update means 101 for writing use frequencies of the folder in the external storage means to be updated by associating the use frequencies with the folder used for the job executed by the execution means.
