<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a master slave card system, in which a command transfer inquiry mechanism to a slave card is adopted, and its processing method. <P>SOLUTION: In the master slave card system, the master card and a plurality of slave cards serially connected are included. The master card transmits the command with station-number information to the slave card, and the selected slave card sends back a response message. In the response message, an initial packet, a plurality of data packets and a CRC check packet are included, and the master card transmits the next command to the next slave card after the correct initial packet is identified. When the initial packet is not correct, the master card stops transmitting the next command until the received signal elapses halt of the silence period of time defined in advance.
