<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an HCV peptide recognized by a cell-mediated immune reaction and a humoral immune reaction, and having a high immunogenicity. <P>SOLUTION: This peptide derived from hepatitis C virus (HCV) containing an HLA (Human leukocyte antigen) bond motif in its sequence and recognized by an antibody detected in an HCV patient is provided.
