PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sanitary napkin allowing a user to easily understand which is a front even if most of a napkin body is covered with a separation sheet. SOLUTION: This sanitary napkin has a napkin body X having a body fluid absorber 3 interposed between a skin surface sheet 1 and a leakage prevention sheet 2, the separation sheet 6 having narrow front/rear ends is locked to a locking part S provided on the outer face of the leakage prevention sheet 1, and the sheet 6 is extended across the front/rear and both sides of the napkin body X. Alternatively, after the separation sheet 6 is folded to superpose its both side ends on the skin sheet 1, the front/rear ends of the separation sheet 6 are subjected to thermal fusion-bond H and are folded to form a score crossing the napkin body X. The front/rear ends of the separation sheet 6 are formed into a narrow width, the front/rear ends of the separation sheet 6 are non-superposed on the skin surface sheet 1 to form openings C1 and C2, the front end Xa is exposed from one opening C1, however, the rear end Xb is prevented from being exposed from the other opening C2.
