There is provided a packaging apparatus (1) for sealing film to a tray. The apparatus comprises: a film supply means (4) for holding a supply of film; a sealing means (6) for sealing film to a tray; and a tray advancing means (5) for moving a tray. In use, the sealing means (6) is arranged to seal film to a tray and the tray advancing means (5) is (10) arranged to move the tray draw film from the film supply means (4). Also provided are parts for such apparatus and methods of packaging.
