A heat pump type dryer is provided to perform drying by using refrigerant having high critical point and causing less over-load or forming a heat pump into two stages, and thus generating high temperature. In a heat pump type dryer, a condenser is inserted to the inside of a container surrounded by water when operating a heat pump of one state using R124 refrigerant. The condenser of a low stage heat pump and an evaporator of a high stage heat pump are arranged in one enclosed space. Object is dried using emitted heat by activating a fan.
