<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance safety by immediately applying a braking force so as to hold an opening/closing door, and enabling the opening/closing door to be closed by a handle operation based on an operator's intention, in the case where the opening/closing door is opened when an operation inhibiting condition is detected. <P>SOLUTION: This powered opening/closing unit comprises the opening/closing door 2, a driving mechanism 7 for moving the opening/closing door 2 in an opening/closing direction by the power of a motor 8, an operation detecting sensor 16 capable of detecting the handle operation, and a control circuit 12 for inhibiting the operation of the driving mechanism 7 when the predetermined operation inhibiting condition is detected. The driving mechanism 7 applies braking to the movement of the opening/closing door 2 by putting the clutch 11 into a connected state as the motor 8 is stopped. The control circuit 12 controls the connection of the clutch 11 under the stopped state of the motor 8 in such a manner that the detection of the opening of the opening/closing door 2 serves as momentum, in a state in which the operation inhibiting condition is detected, and controls the connection/disconnection of the clutch 11 in such a manner that the detection of the handle operation by the operation detecting sensor 16 serves as momentum. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
