<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light emitting device capable of preventing polarized light emitted by a light emitting element from being disordered, and to provide a manufacturing method thereof. <P>SOLUTION: The light emitting device 1 includes a mounting base 3, the light emitting element 2 which is mounted on the mounting base 3 and emits the polarized light 20, and a light-transmissive resin portion 4 which covers the light emitting element 2 to transmit the polarized light 20 emitted by the light emitting element, and has resin molecules having a non-oriented structure. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
