PANEL TYPE SECTORAL BEAM ANTENNA UNIT AND FOUR SIDE COMPOSITION OMNIDIRECTIONAL ANTENNA DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a panel type sectoral beam antenna unit ensuring horizontal plane directivity with little deviation of directivity by four side composition even when the width of a support is relatively large, and to provide a four side composition omnidirectional antenna employing this panel type sectoral beam antenna unit. SOLUTION: The panel type sectoral beam antenna unit (1) includes three or more radiators (2) arranged contiguously to each other with a predetermined opening angle (θ), and reflectors (3) arranged on the back of respective radiators (2) wherein the opening angle is set such that the horizontal plane directivity shows a predetermined sectoral pattern. The four side composition omnidirectional antenna is constituted by arranging the panel type sectoral beam antenna units (1) on the four sides of a support (120). COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
