PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inform a user, accurately and in an easy-to-understand manner, of passable roads by obtaining accurate information of passage-prohibited roads by making use of traffic information from the outside and, based on the information, by hiding the roads in a passage-prohibited zone or by adding visual changes in colors to such roads. SOLUTION: A VICS information receiving section 34 acquires VICS information received via an FM multiplex receiving and processing section 1 and a beacon receiving and processing section 2. A passage-prohibited road determining section 35 determines, by referring to the actual date and time detected by a positioning section 14 and the like, whether there exists road information of the roads currently in passage-prohibition period in the information obtained via the VICS information receiving section 34. When the passage-prohibited road determining section 35 determines that there exists road information of passage-prohibited roads in the VICS information, a display control section 37 outputs to a display section 7 an instruction to hide the roads in passage-prohibition period.
