PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a complex processing system capable of enhancing the reliability of detecting double feed without raising any problem such as an increase of the cost caused by the high performance of a complex processing device, an increase of the size of the device and degradation of the throughput even when processing a plurality of kinds of paper sheets. SOLUTION: A complex processing device 1 transmits the result of determination of the first double feed detection processing, the result of determination of the second double feed detection processing, the paper sheet length data detected by a paper sheet length detection means 9, and the paper sheet thickness data detected by a paper thickness detection means 65 as the data for re-determining the double feed to a host computer 30 in addition to the image data of the paper sheets acquired by an image reading means in the device. The host computer 30 is capable of reliably detecting double feed by re-determining presence/absence of any double feed based on the image data and the data for re-determining the double feed transmitted from the complex processing device 1.
