PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pulsometer capable of continuously measuring a pulse even in low-temperature periods such as winder and nighttime. SOLUTION: The pulsometer includes: a pulse number measuring part 30 having a pulse detecting part 22 so as to measure the number of pulses by prescribed cycle; a temperature sensor 40 for detecting the body temperature of a living body and/or environmental temperature by prescribed cycle; and a control part 60 for controlling the temperature sensor 40 and the pulse number measuring part 30. The control part 60 includes: a cold/warm determining part 62 for determining a warm state when the detection temperature of the temperature sensor 40 is higher than a prescribed cold/warm threshold, and determining a cold state when the detection temperature is lower than the cold/warm threshold; and a measurement operation control part 63 for changing-over the pulse number measuring part 30 to be a measurement mode and a non-measurement mode. The measurement operation control part 63 performs changeover into the measurement mode to operate the pulse number measuring part 30 when the cold/warm determining part 62 determines the warm state and into the non-measurement mode not to operate the pulse number measuring part 30 when the cold/warm determining part 62 determines the cold state.
