The invention relates to a universal fastener (1) for a navigation apparatus or screen or a mobile telephone to any internal rear-view mirror (2) of an automobile. The universal fastener (1) has a cloth-hanger hook-shaped cut-out (8) to be inserted about the ball-connection axis (4) of the rear-view mirror to the windscreen.
