The present invention discloses a method for collecting and analysing atmosphere-suspended solid particles, which represents a reliable and cost effective option for the analysis of inorganic ions, such as sulfate and nitrate ions. Said method represents and alternative for the sampling of atmospheric particles that are lower than ten micrometers, and for the subsequent analysis of sulfate and nitrate ions, since the collection means does not interfere with the quantification of said compounds, unlike the traditional method.
