<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method capable of measuring the responses of lymphocytes held on a chip, against the antigen stimulations of more than 10,000 simultaneously and grasping the state of each of the cells individually, and a means used for the method. <P>SOLUTION: This method for screening an objective cell is provided by using a micro well array having a plurality of wells on one of the major surfaces of a substrate material wherein, the well has a size of holding only one cell, and a coated layer of a substance having a bonding property with a material produced by the cell housed in the well on a major surface surrounding the wells, housing test cells in the wells of the micro well array together with the culturing liquid of the cell, immersing the coated layer and wells in the culturing liquid, culturing the cells in a state capable of diffusing the material contained in the culturing liquid from the well to the coated layer, supplying a labelling substance specifically bonding with the material produced by the objective cell contained in the test cells, to the coated layer, detecting the substance produced by the objective cell and bonded with the material of the coated layer by using the labelling substance to identify the objective cell. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
