<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light-emitting element incorporating a function of controlling direction independency of light-extraction intensity, without giving rise to increase of an occupancy space of the element. <P>SOLUTION: By forming a three-dimensional structure capable of controlling directional dependency of light-extraction intensity at the same time as formation of the organic layer on one face of at least one organic layer of a light-emitting element with a light-extraction side of a light-emitting element sealed by a multilayer film having at least one organic layer, a light-emitting element excellent in light-extraction property is obtained.
