The method involves predetermining or changing a testing voltage lying at connections e.g. positive connection (30). A characteristic of an electrical parameter of a total resistance value or the current value adjusted during change of a testing voltage is measured. The measured current or total resistance is measured during a predetermined voltage. The change of the testing voltage is made within a range between 10 voltage and 80 voltage, and a fuel injector is subjected to increased testing voltage greater than or equal to 30 voltage. An independent claim is also included for a measuring device for testing a condition of fuel injectors, comprising a piezo element.
