<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a manufacturing method of an axial member, no rotationally positional discrepancy of a threaded member against which occurring easily by slight vibration or impact is made to develop after the position of the threaded member is positionally adjusted to be brought to the specified peripheral position of the axial member by inserting the threaded member into the axial member or into the member serving as the installing part of the threaded member arranged to the axial member in the axial member of a writing utensil, which is produced by fixing with adhesive the threaded member to the axial member or to the member serving as the installing part of the threaded member arranged to the axial member, and the axial member manufactured thereby. <P>SOLUTION: Between the portion of the threaded member inserted into the axial member and the axial member or the member serving as the installing part of the threaded member arranged to the axial member, a suppressing means of rotation for suppressing the rotation of the threaded member against the axial member is provided.
