<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disk device capable of forming and recording a visible image on an image recording layer provided on a label surface by using laser light. <P>SOLUTION: In the optical disk device so constituted that the visible image can be formed and recorded by irradiating the image recording layer with laser light, an aberration correction element 5 provided in an optical path between a laser diode 1 and an objective lens L so that its displacement in an optical axial direction is made possible and correcting spherical aberration is assembled in an optical pickup device, the aberration correction element 5 assembled in the optical pickup device is displaced to an image recording operation position upon image recording operation to correct spherical aberration and the level of a driving current supplied to a laser diode 1 is set according to a beam profile. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
