<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress slippage of a separator and a membrane electrode assembly in a fuel cell and achieve thinness and light weight reduction. <P>SOLUTION: An insulating cell plate 230 of a fuel battery cell 210 is provided with an MEA 232 and porous gas diffusion layers 250, 252 joined to this in the center, and is jointed to a separator 270 interposing a seal plate 260 in between. The cell plate 230 has a center bent member 240C, a left bent member 240L, and a right bent member 240R at the upper and lower ends, and these bent members are jointed and fixed to the bent members of the neighboring cell plate 230 with the bent members extended to the further outside than the outer fringe of the separator 270. Thereby, the neighboring cell plates 230 surround the separator 270 on the outer fringe of the separator by each bent members of the one side cell plate 230 and respective bent members of the cell plate 230 on the other side. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
