<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blank capable of picking a material at a high yield and manufacturing a high-quality battery can. <P>SOLUTION: The blank 1 for a battery can has a profile having an external shape which makes a round shape 7 as a basic shape, in which the round shape 7 is formed by connecting six of straight sides 3 consisting of straight line sections with designated length where respective contact points 9 with the round shape 7 at six sides of an equilateral hexagon 8 circumscribed with the round shape 7 are set up to be center positions; twelve connecting small sides 4 with short length extending from respective both ends of respective straight side sections 3 toward the inside of the equilateral hexagon 8 at the position of the round shape 7 or near the round shape 7; and six intermediate side sections 2 respectively connecting respective ends of respective two connecting small side sections 4 between respective two adjacent straight side sections 3 with straight lines, arc lines, or a combination of straight lines and arc lines. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
