<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pedal device that allows accelerating and braking control by a single pedal to thereby improve operability. <P>SOLUTION: A rotatable accelerator pedal 5 is provided at an end of a brake rod 15. An acceleration input portion 11 and a brake input portion 12 are provided at opposite sides of a pivot 21, which is the center of turning, of the accelerator pedal 5. Thus, an control force is input into the acceleration input part 11 to turn the accelerator pedal 5 when controlling acceleration. The brake rod 15 actuated through the accelerator pedal 5 when controlling braking. Furthermore, the accelerator pedal 5 is provided with the brake input portion 12, thereby regulating the accelerator pedal 5 not to rotate to a direction of increasing the output of an engine.
