PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display the time required to a facility located on a route. SOLUTION: The navigation apparatus 1 searches for five routes, such as, a recommended route leading to a destination from a present position and a toll-priority route. In addition to the function of displaying five routes searched for on a map, the navigation apparatus 1 is provided with the function of providing time-by-time facility information when the route is selected, such as, what facility is available after how many minutes. The navigation apparatus 1 can thus display facilities on a temporal axis that represents the traveled time. Accordingly, the navigation apparatus 1 provides temporal distribution of resting points, or the like, for each route to a user, in advance, and the user can perform route selection or set a travel plan taking into consideration the temporal distribution of facilities.
