PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a container for transportation which has a container body capable of housing part of a card in a gap on the bottom side and therefore capable of housing a card of a height higher than the height of the container body without applying any work to the card or without bending the upper portion of the card outward. SOLUTION: Card mounting members H1-h5 are mounted in a card mounting member fitting recess c9 which is formed in the backside of the bottom of the container body C', so that a card inserting gap G can be formed between the container body and the card mounting member. The bottom-side clearance portion g1, which is composed of a horizontal top portion c9b of the card mounting member fitting recess formed in the container body and a horizontal portion 1a of the card mounting member facing the horizontal top portion, is formed in the card inserting clearance. A card-visible area A1 is formed between an upper end 1c1 of a front wall portion 1c of the card mounting member and a peripheral horizontal flange c4 at the upper end of the container body.
