PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a liquid crystal device for improving a performance in applying an orientation material by simply, inexpensively, uniformly and evenly applying the orientation material on a substrate. SOLUTION: The manufacturing method of the liquid crystal device includes: a step S2 for applying one of a main solvent of the orientation material for composing an orientation film and a diluted orientation material having the orientation material diluted by the main solvent at a predetermined concentration on at least a pixel electrode in the TFT substrate; a step S3 for applying the orientation material on one of the main solvent and the diluted orientation material; and a step S4 for drying the orientation material.
