PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stop a movable member at an accurate position when a stepping motor is stopped according to the detection of an index piece by a detection means. SOLUTION: The movable device includes the stepping motor to be rotated/driven in a fixed direction; the movable member 61 supported in such a way as oscillatable around a shaft 62; a drive transmission means for converting the rotation of the stepping motor to the reciprocation and for reciprocate/oscillate the movable member 61 by one rotation of the stepping motor; the index piece 63 attached to the movable member 61; an original position detection sensor 66 for detecting the index piece 63; and a control means for controlling the driving and stopping of the stepping motor based on the state of the index piece 63 detected by the original position detection sensor 66. The state of the index piece 63 is switched from detectable to undetectable by the original position detection sensor 66 at an original position set between turn-around positions of the movable member 61, and the index piece 63 is formed of such dimensions that the index piece is continuously detectable by the original position detection sensor 66 while the movable member 61 moves from the original position to one turn-around position.
