An open type piston compressor having a drive shaft extending from a crank chamber, formed in a housing, to the outside of the housing, in which a sealing device for sealing the crank chamber side against the atmosphere side outside the housing is placed around the drive shaft. The housing includes an opening section having one end open in the crank chamber and the other end open to the outside of the housing, and also includes a lubrication oil supply hole having one end open in a space for receiving the sealing device and the other end open in the opening section. An extension section of the lubrication oil supply hole passes through the inner side of the opening section. The open type piston compressor allows lubrication oil to be excellently supplied to the sealing device without an increase in the size and cost of the device and has high durability. |
