The invention relates to a suspension system for at least one part that is movable along a displacement path. The suspension system has at least two carriages (2) for the at least one movable part. The at least one movable part may be a sliding door leaf (1), a circularly rotating door leaf, an arced door leaf, a folding door leaf, a horizontally rotating door leaf, or the like. The at least two carriages (2) are locally fixed on an upper section of the at least one movable part, and are disposed in a manner extending substantially in a direction lateral to the displacement path and parallel to a vertical extension of the at least one movable part. Rollers (7) are disposed on each carrier in a freely rotating manner such that the rotational axes thereof extend laterally to the displacement path and laterally to the vertical extension of the at least one movable part. The rollers (7) are disposed on a bearing surface (9) of a bearing rail (8) of the suspension system in a rolling manner. The bearing rail (9) extends along at least part of the displacement path of the movable part, and the bearing surface (8) thereof is positioned in a direction parallel to the vertical extension of the at least one movable part away from the same, e.g. the bearing surface (9) is positioned vertically toward the top such that the rollers (7) roll on a bearing rail (8) disposed below the same. |
