An online party booking system for notifying a user of opening of a party room and a method thereof are provided to notify the user of the party room satisfying a user condition in an SMS(Short Message Service) type when the user makes reservation by specifying a level or a position for playing the game. A game client(100) include a first interface module(110) providing an interface for receiving parameter and authenticating a mobile terminal to reserve a party, and a second interface module displaying a party subscriber list and enabling a player to select reservation satisfying a booking condition from the party subscriber list. A party booking server(200) includes a matching module(210), a mobile terminal authentication module(230), a message transmitting module(220), and a party booking database(240). The matching module transmits a short message for informing the subscriber mobile terminal that the party satisfying the booking condition is found. The mobile terminal authentication module authenticates whether the subscriber mobile terminal can receive the short message. |
