LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY WITH TOUCH SENSOR EMBEDDED AND METHOD THEREOF

A touch sensor integrated liquid crystal display and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to improve reliability by including an electrostatic capacity touch sensor with a fast response speed in a transparent electrode with high resistance. A photo sensitizer is coated to form an icon for representing a display image in one side of a second substrate comprising a liquid crystal display panel. The icon is formed by etching the photo sensitizer coating layer and performing a photolithography according to a required icon shape. A transparent electrode comprising a touch sensor(5) is formed by using vacuum deposition method on other side of a second substrate(2) with the icon. A liquid crystal display panel is assembled by assembling a first substrate(1) with the second substrate including the touch sensor composed of the icon and the transparent electrode. A polarizer(6a,6b) is installed outside the first substrate and on the touch sensor of the second substrate.
