A presence-enabled property management system (PMS) (200) facilitates management of a physical property containing a plurality of rooms individually associable with one or more users of the property. The presence-enabled PMS (200) includes a plurality of PMS services (220) available to the users, a presence server (160) for maintaining respective presence information (180) on presentities (110) associated with the presence-enabled PMS (220) and providing the presence information (180) in real-time to watchers (170) of the presentities (110), and a presence connector (230) in communication with the PMS services (220) to provide the presence information (180) to the presence server (160). The presence information (180) for each of the presentities (110) defines respective presence states of one or more of the PMS services (220). |
