A writing utensil (1) with a writing implement (2) and with a sleeve-shaped holder (4) which accommodates the writing implement (2) and has a gripping piece (3) is proposed, in which the writing implement is guided in a longitudinally adjustable manner along the longitudinal axis (5) of the sleeve, wherein the holder (4), on the inside, has a thread (6) which runs at least substantially over the length of the sleeve and in which the writing implement (2) engages by means of a mating thread (7) in order to longitudinally adjust the writing implement (2) in the holder (4) in relation to the holder (4). In order to provide advantageous conditions, it is proposed that the holder (4), on the outside, has a guide (15) onto which at least one attachment (14) forming at least part of the writing utensil casing is placed, preferably in a manner secured against rotation about the longitudinal axis of the sleeve, and that the holder (4) includes a clamping device (13) for securing the writing implement (2) against rotation in the holder (4), and a gripping piece (13) of ergonomic design in cross section in the gripping region. |
