PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide information reflecting user's taste from among history information of operations by a user to equipment or a user interface such as a graphical user interface.

SOLUTION: An information providing device comprises: a collection means of operation history data transmitted from one set or a plurality of sets of equipment or a user interface and data obtained during operation; a conversion means for converting the data collected by the collection means into data related to an operation subject; a storage means for storing the data converted by the conversion means and related to the operation subject; a user's taste information extraction means for extracting a frequency pattern from the data related to a plurality of operation subjects stored in the storage means; a command generation means for generating a command for providing information by the frequency pattern extracted by the extraction means; and an information providing means for executing the command generated by the generation means to provide information to the user.
