PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To clearly inform a user of the result of automatic correction even in direct printing although it is difficult to display images before and after correcting the correction result of the automatic correction as a preview because it is difficult to secure a large display in direct printing without mediating a PC.

SOLUTION: This image correction effect display method includes processes of: inputting image data; automatically correcting the image; and printing the automatically corrected image; and displays, on a display screen connected to or installed in a printer or an imaging device, the effect of the automatic correction by a display method to which a numerical value obtained by calculating the effect of the automatic correction is reflected.
