<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that the reliability of connection with power sources and that of surface light-emitting element cooling are not sufficiently ensured because wiring between a surface light-emitting element and electrodes can not be protected. <P>SOLUTION: A total of nine light-emitting modules 5 (3 pcs.×3 rows) are arranged on the top surface of a cooling header 114. A rectangular electrode plate 20 is provided above each of the rows. A hollow elastic electrode member 19 having elasticity in the same direction as a light irradiation direction 23 is provided so as to be in contact with the bottom surface of the rectangular electrode plate 20 and with the top surface of each light-emitting module 5. Each rectangular electrode plate 20 and each power source 22 are connected through a wire 112, and the cooling header 114 and each power source 22 are connected through a wire 113. Each rectangular electrode plate 20 is secured to the cooling header 114 at both ends via support posts 21 made of an insulating material.
