<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure smooth motion of a switch valve in a hot water supply device draining the condensate water generated in a heat exchanger for collecting latent heat to a bathtub. <P>SOLUTION: A condensate water drain means 40 comprises a collecting tray 41 disposed below a sub-heat exchanger 8 for collecting latent heat and collecting the condensate water falling from the sub-heat exchanger 8, a drain circuit 42, a drain tank 44, and a switch valve 49 disposed on a contact point P2 of the drain circuit 42 and a bathtub hot water supply circuit 75. Further, an auxiliary circuit 50 with an auxiliary valve 51 is disposed. The auxiliary circuit 50 is connected with the bathtub hot water supply circuit 75 at its one end and connected with the drain circuit 42 at the other end. The drain circuit 42 is communicated with the bathtub hot water supply circuit 75 by switching the switch valve 49 from a cutoff position to a communication position at a prescribed draining timing, and the condensate water in the drain tank 44 is drained to the bathtub 70. By opening the auxiliary valve 51 after the drainage, the cleaning water from a hot water supply circuit 20 is supplied to the drain circuit 42 and drained to the bathtub 70. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
